Urgent Policyholder Updates

UPDATE FOR POLICYHOLDERS IN TEXAS

On August 23, 2017, Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued an emergency bulletin (Bulletin B-0009-17) declaring multiple counties as a disaster areas due to the effects of Hurricane Harvey. As a result of the historic flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey, and the extensive displacement of Texas citizens, Combined Insurance customers residing in the Texas counties noted below may be eligible for a due date extension of their Combined policy renewal premium payments due between August 23  and October 23, 2017, as well as any deadlines to submit claim proof of loss for that same time period.  Please contact Combined’s Customer Care Center at 800-225-4500 with any questions.

The Texas Governor amended the emergency disaster proclamation adding Angelina, Orange, Sabine and Trinity counties to the list of counties impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

The counties impacted are Angelina, Aransas, Atascosa, Austin, Bastrop, Bee, Bexar, Brazoria, Brazos, Burleson, Caldwell, Calhoun, Cameron, Chambers, Colorado, Comal, DeWitt, Fayette, Fort Bend, Galveston, Goliad, Gonzales, Grimes, Guadalupe, Hardin, Harris, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson, Jim Wells, Karnes, Kerr, Kleberg, Lavaca, Lee, Leon, Liberty, Live Oak, Madison, Matagorda, Montgomery, Newton, Nueces, Orange, Polk, Refugio, Sabine, San Jacinto, San Patricio, Trinity, Tyler, Victoria, Walker, Waller, Washington, Wharton, Willacy and Wilson.

UPDATE FOR POLICYHOLDERS IN ILLINOIS

On July 17, 2017, Illinois Governor, Bruce Rauner, issued Bulletin 2017-03 and has declared Cook, Kane, Lake, and McHenry counties state disaster areas due to significant flooding.   Combined Insurance customers residing in the Illinois counties noted that have been impacted by the recent flooding, may be eligible for an extension of the due date of their Combined policy renewal premium payments due for the period of July 12, 2017 through September 12, 2017, as well as any deadlines to submit claim proof of loss for that same time period.  Please contact Combined’s Customer Care Center at 800-225-4500 with any questions.

Just download the appropriate form (below), print it out and complete it. (Note that parts of the form need to be completed by your employer and your doctor.) Once all the information is filled in, just mail or fax it to the appropriate address or fax number.
